This is the latest quilt I've finished. It's for Andrew - Planez based on the Jan Mullen pattern, stars based on the Freddy Moran and Gwen Marston book - Collaborative Quilts, and the rockets pattern is my own. It's come back from the quilters place now, and I've started sewing on the binding - it's black and white with circles. I'll have it done before it starts getting too cold here at nights - it's Autumn in Australia.

How wonderful is this one!!

These are my fabrics from spoonflower.com - they arrived yesterday. I've had some of these fabrics in my shopping cart on the website for six months now, it's so good to finally have them. I'm planning a lime green and orange quilt - so these two oranges will go really well.

I so want to make this quilt.

Ben stuck this note to our sliding door late last year. I had to take a photo - it was sooo cute.

The boys with their guinea pigs. Andrew is holding Malteser. Ben is holding Diamond. They're about three months old now. We got the guinea pigs out on Sunday, then put them in their cardboard box - which has ramps, tunnels and mazes. We cleaned out the hutch (it had been raining) and put in fresh hay.

Here's the planes and rockets quilt I've just finished for Andrew. I'm taking it off to be professionally quilted on Saturday. It's been three years in the making, and it's good to know that Andrew will have it on his bed this winter (and even this autumn).
