Well, there is sort of a pattern. Basically you cut nine squares the same size and then use each individual square as a template for laying out the triangles for the stars. It's a fool-proof method because you know that all the squared will match up again. Isn't it beautiful! It's Freddy Moran and Gwen Marsten.
